Students need conducive environment both at Home and at School
Einstein said, “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with the problems longer.”
Students need conducive environment both at home and at school to thrive academically and in real life. Resilience, grit or perseverance is crucial character needed to be nurtured and developed.
Parents must be conscious about the adversity condition at home that may negatively affect the normal development of the children.
Teachers and educators should be in charge of the environment in classroom and in school community to ensure that student feel safe and welcomed to learn and grow. Both cognitive and noncognitive skills must be assessed in a balance way.
Educational policy must change to recognize the importance of teachers whose works improve behavior of students and their positive attitudes to life. It is both academic and nonacademic skills are the prime objective of education.
